Center Action Fund Endorses Claudia Bill-de la Peña for Ventura County Supervisor
THOUSAND OAKS, Calif.— The Center for Biological Diversity Action Fund, the 501(c)(4) political arm of the Center for Biological Diversity, announced today that it is endorsing Claudia Bill-de la Peña for Ventura County Supervisor in District 2.
“Claudia Bill-de la Peña has a track record of protecting wildlife and accelerating our transition to 100% clean, renewable energy,” said Jason Pfeifle, a campaigner at the Center for Biological Diversity Action Fund. “We need her leadership on the Ventura County Board of Supervisors to hold oil and gas polluters accountable and move the county away from dirty fossil fuels.”
“I’m thrilled to have the endorsement of the Center for Biological Diversity Action Fund,” said Bill-de la Peña. “We agree that developing policies to keep our air, water and environment clean is absolutely essential to protecting public health and wildlife.”
The Center for Biological Diversity Action Fund is a national nonprofit organization that advocates for legislation and legislators that will advance a progressive environmental agenda.
